Fully Armed and Operational...
The drought has ended! I have finally moved into my new apartment and the fucks at Sunflower Broadband have finally managed to work me into their schedule. I have internet again! HOOOOORAY! Not having any sort of on-ramp to the information superhighway for the past week and a half has really been an eye-opener for me.
I have decided that, with the advent of TV on DVD, services such as NetFlix and downloading things from the inter-tron, there is really no longer the need for cable television that was once so pervasive throughout the country. In the olden days (read: mid and late 90's) you simply needed to have cable TV. I didn't acquire the aforementioned service until I was in high school and, coincidentally enough, that was when I started to have real friends. Call me crazy, but I believe that knowing what was funny on TV was simply a requirement for effective human interaction at that time. Perhaps that is still a requirement for that period in a young person's life, but I'm not writing my fucking master's thesis here, I'm just making an observation. Speaking of which, back to my main point.
You can live without cable now. I do. Several of my friends do. And we are perfectly happy. What you cannot live without is the internet. Try it for a few days. Don't use the internet at all. I guarantee you will fold after a day or so. You simply need it nowadays. Email, instant messaging, World of fucking Warcraft... a plethora of things that you need access to in order to function as a normal, upstanding human being.
So I am finally back at full strength and seeing as how I now live by myself and quite a few of my friends have moved to Kansas City, I think an era of regular updates is finally upon us. So if anyone still reads this poor, neglected, husk of a blog, you're in luck! Have yourself a happy day and I will see you soon.
Falcon out

Regarding your blog - internet provider save search setting. I have just signed up to talktalk broadband and is an absolutely superb deal. I get free telephone calls 24/7 plus free 8Mb/s broadband (which is lightening fast btw). I would definitely recommend talktalk broadband for anyone in the uk. Also available at www.bargainplace.co.uk
